Extreme Hangout Locals are 1-2 day climate action events hosted locally, anywhere in the world, at a beach bar, school, workplace, mountain top, or community centre - anywhere for your community. Extreme Hangout Local hosts are invited to join us at COP each year when we host a 5-10 day event, but the local events happen near you in your community and are always engaging, educating and fun!

PwC Ireland hosted the Extreme Hangout Dublin' event, in association with Extreme International, with a vision of giving young changemakers a voice on the environment and inspiring environmental action. The event, in particular, showcased positive change through sustainable living. It was attended by over 1,000 PwC people at the firm’s headquarters in Dublin. In the lead up to COP28, Earth Minutes ran an ‘Extreme Hangout’ event here at Eden to celebrate the importance of youth voices within climate change leadership. The event explored climate change from the lens of football, finance and music, to ensure there was something for everyone and to encourage cross-collaboration between industries and interests. From panel discussions, action-packed workshops to live poetry readings, visitors immersed themselves in the latest environmental research and action to help us reignite the climate change conversation here in the UK

Extreme Hangout recently came to Africa for a number of events, held in amazing places such as Dar Es Salaam, Kigali and Soy.
