Inspired by our love of adventure sports, the natural world and our passion to protect the planet, EXTREME International established The Extreme Hangout as a climate action events platform in 2021

We launched at COP26 in Glasgow and subsequently brought it to COP27 in Egypt. Since its inception, we've featured more than 300 speakers, and our videos have reached over 5 million views to date. The Extreme Hangout is currently expanding on a global scale through collaborations with local partners, has delivered 12 local events to date with many more to come and the Extreme Hangout at COP28 is scheduled to run for 10 days from the 3rd to the 12th of December 2023 in the Green Zone, Al Forsan Park, Dubai Expo.

HOST AN EXTREME HANGOUT WITH US

Alongside our annual 10-day event that we run at COP each year; locally organised Extreme Hangouts are appearing all over the world as part of our local to global-impact series. These one-to-two-day climate action events are locally organised, and hosted by passionate change-makers, in collaboration with EXTREME, influencers, creators, activists, pioneers, innovative companies, cities, and tourism boards.
